A garage conversion turns an under-used space into a proper room — a home office, extra bedroom, gym, playroom or utility — without changing the footprint of your house. Because the walls, roof and foundations already exist, it's usually the fastest and most affordable way to gain living space.

The work starts with damp-proofing and building up the floor so it sits level with the rest of the house, then insulating the walls, floor and ceiling to meet current building regulations. The garage door is normally removed and replaced with a new brick or blockwork wall and a window, matched to your existing brickwork so the change looks original from the street.

We then run new electrics, extend the heating system, and finish with plastering, flooring, doors and decoration. If you want a WC, shower or utility area we install the plumbing and drainage at the same time. Building control sign-off is handled throughout, so the room is officially habitable space.
